When you go to the …
When you go to the tobacconist, they should be able to assist you in choosing one… likely you will want a mild cigar.

95% of Cuban cigars …
95% of Cuban cigars are fake, unless they are purchased from an authorized Habanos dealer. If it is your first cigar, you will not be able to appreciate an excellent cigar as opposed to a so-so cigar. Therefore, I would choose a lower-end Arturo Fuente, and wait until you can appreciate a cigar well until you invest in something like a Cohiba.

I bought a box of 5 …
I bought a box of 5 Siglo IV Cohibas at Sanborn’s two weeks ago in Mex City… Was told you could take 10 bake to the States but at roughly 23.50 a piece, I wasn’t willing to risk losing them at Customs. Made it thru without incident and they didn’t bother to check when I declared I had 5 cigars and a box of 10 Partagas minis.

Could u tell me …
Could u tell me what a good first time cigar is? I’m definitely interested in either smoking a Cohiba or an Arturo Fuente for my first cigar but I don’t know which style would be the best for a first timer. I wanna smoke it at my high school football game tailgate.

I found the great …
I found the great place to buy non cubans.
It’s Rj tobacco. U can find it on the web.
I smoke partagas s series. They are $189 at tompsons cigars. But at rj they are $92 for a box of 25. I buy these at cig shops here in las Vegas for $15 frickin bucks. Then I found RJ. Wow I bought 4 boxes. Yea rj. All cigars are much cheaper there.
No I don’t work for RJ. I just want to help my fellow cig smokers. U will rember me after your first order. Peace.

didnt realize that, …
didnt realize that,, but as for traveling via vehicle from USA all we have to do is drive to Canada for vacation (7 hour drive for me) and buy a box of Cubans and take the bands off and put them in a generic brand cigar box, and when you pass through customs, (if they happen to search your vehicle for anything taxable) just tell them you brought Cigars with you from back home,, they cant prove anything, its not like they can send a sniff dog to tell if it is Cuban embargo

Go to Cuba with a …
Go to Cuba with a portable DVD pLayer or CD PLAYER. You will exchnage either one for 2 to 4 boxes of Cohibas. Cubans will do anything for electronics there. They don’t want your stinking 60 pesos for a box of conterfeit cigars. Just show em CD-PLAYER and they will get you a real box of COHIBAS (more if u bargain).
-Hope that helps

intro: put a …
intro: put a blacklight to the seal to see if it has “the mark”…if not, you probably have a bogus bunch. I am not sure, but if you get caught trying to smuggle in Cuban’s, you can be wacked $10K per cigar. I could be wrong, but I know the penalty outweighs the cigar.

Honduran rounds …
Honduran rounds tend to be cheaper. The real Cuban Habano is hard to find. In Miami’s Little Havana ‘hood there are small shops that produce and sell Cuban-style cigs to tourists. There are even “restaurants” where one can simply sit outside and enjoy a good Habano or other cig.
I’d like to know where they get their tobacco leaves. SoFla’s not good for tobacco cultivation.
Real Cuban cigs made by real Cubans - in Miami.

ach, each to their …
ach, each to their own. i’m not a refined businessman who goes to formal things where they’re smoked alot lol, so they’re priced fine for the odd one or two each year. but you’re right, a 25 box… even a 10 box makes them look much more expensive.

$450.00 for 25????! …
$450.00 for 25????!!!!! That is robbery and taking a big chance on counterfiet Cohiba’s. I just got a box of 25 Cohiba Robustos for $275.00 free shipping. Came in IDENTICAL authentic box (like in this video) stamped with the date of July 2009 with the official Habanos sticker and Cohiba seal.
