Interesting Video. … Interesting Video. However, even if filmed in Cuba, this is not a Cohiba cigar, this is not the Cohiba factory, and if you were to smoke that damp stick of three types of tobacco you would probably puke. The cigar needs to be pressed, then bundled and stored anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. As the cigar drys it also married all the different flavors from the filler, the inside wrapper and the outside wrapper. It is the blending and consequent drying that makes the cigar taste incredible.
There are 2 … There are 2 different brand of Cohiba Cigars. The cigars you see at 3:39 are the Cuban brand. The other brand of Cohiba Cigars are Dominican brand sold here in the U.S. also known as the “Red Dot” Cohiba.
this video is good. … this video is good. It shows the rolling style of the roller which is much better than the Dominican Cohiba roller. (vid here on youtube). In DR they use a bunching machine so they can roll many more cigars in one day, but you dont get the same quality of properly spaced filler leaf. However, the tobacco in the Dominican Cohiba is aged, and fermented much more than in Cuba so the taste is better. My factory in Ecuador has all these attributes combined. Makes a great cigar…. good video..
