   temps in the upper 70’s and higher are not good.if i’m not mistaken 80+ is when the eggs start to hatch

   Usually beetles …
   Usually beetles will hatch in high temps, not high humidity, though it’s not good for cigars to have too high humidity either. Manufacturers usually freeze, or gas (or both) their cigars prior to shipping to retailers. So, there’s really no reason to freeze cigars unless there is evidence of beetles.

   is it true that if your humidor is too humid the bugs eggs hatch?
   some people say to but the cigars in the fringe for a week when you get them. would this be bad for the cigars?

   Yeah, there are many good online vendors, but not all have the same inventory. So, it kind of depends what you want. Google is your friend. Google the brand and then do some price checking.

   I have boxes that …
   I have boxes that are both just closed and wrapped in cellophane. Neither condition is completely airtight. Closed boxes will get some, though not much humidity from the environment in the humi. But humidity (and temp) moves readily in a gradient, but when the inside the box and outside the box humidity is nearly equal, there is no driving force for the humidity to “want” to escape.

   Question for ya doc, you have multiple boxes of cigars within your humidor, some that look to be wooden, if those are closed or still wrapped up how are they able to get moisture from the humidor?

   Each cigar is …
   Each cigar is different with respect to its ability to age. In general, stronger, fuller-bodied cigars have more aging potential (but not always). Many cigars have been known to age successfully for 10-20 years and longer.

    I heard somewhere …
    I heard somewhere that AVO cigars are made by the creators of Davidoff. Im not sure if it is the same factory though.
